The Original SWAPO
We believe the best indicator of what we can and should get form the developers is found right next door to us with the original SWAPO group east of Kelly Elliot and south of Sublett. We have based on our own desired bid numbers and contrat on theirs. Here's what they recently confirmed with Paloma and GMB:
Broker (Signing Bonus / Royalty Interest):
Caffey / Sullivan ($5,000 / 22%)
Four Sevens / Chesapeake ($5,000 / 25%)
Dale / Chesapeake ($8,000 / 25%)
GMB / Paloma ($16,850 / 25%)
XTO is not interested at this time
Also note that the original SWAPO added many environmental, noise and traffic provisions to protect their homes, their children, and their quality of life, and we are including these in our contract. Right now, we realize that Four Sevens is soliciting residents by mail with $5,000/acre signing bonus, and we ask that you not sign this until you attend one of our meetings or examine our potential contract.
Since GMB/Paloma offered the original SWAPO an excellent deal, we at SWAPO2 will negotiating with them as well. Even if you live in our SWAPO2 area, there is a still a lot you can learn about this process by reading information on the original SWAPO page.
Other neighborhoods in Fort Worth have received over $18,000 per acre.
